Hey love ones,

Just want to share with you guys an awesome testimony this morning! This morning a south African young man decided to step out to fulfill God's purpose by starting an extreme game ministry. It was really powerful to hear that because some of us probably haven't found our purpose. Sometimes we got so preoccupied with the things of this world, we totally forgot how to live a life of fulfilling God's purpose.  What is our purpose? You are purpose for God's kingdom.

The other day my cousin and I were on our way home from Rose's house, she told me she never thought how Christians react will be like a family thing. My cousin went to a Catholic high school and college, she got so paranoid by the school teachers and her classmates always talking about the judgment day and showing her pictures of hell. I told her what their saying is probably the truth but they missed one point that is bringing the kingdom. Remember how Jesus prayed in the Lord's prayer? He said "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:9-13"  What did Jesus said about this picture?? He said "your kingdom come!!!!!!"

To be honest with you, I don't really care if I am going to heaven or what? Because nobody knows what's gonna happen after death! I love the idea what Pastor Jeff always tells me the eternal life not only means the length of life but also the quality of life. That is, once you receive Jesus you will live a life when people probably perceive you as living a lifestyle of living in Heaven which is God's kingdom. Sometimes when we have conflicts with your colleagues, friends or family, you are encountering a financial woe or having anxiety about the exam. You could totally ask yourself why? Why would I go panic for all these stuff? I am purpose for a kingdom, where I am right now or what I am doing right now is just a temporary stop and a temporary tool that God has giving me as an opportunity to join His great commission.

I wanna share my spiritual dad's testimony. He used to be a politician back in the States and after he retired he got hired as a consultant in the United States government.  He got paid by $1000 per hour for consulting the politicians. As tempting as it sounds but Jeff decided to be obedient to God's mission and choose to come here to fulfill what God has been calling him to do. You know what Vincent said really touches my heart? He said he wasn't feel happy at all before because he knew he wasn't fulfilling his purpose. You know what will make you really happy? You will feel so happy to see people start to give their life to Jesus Christ in your work place, at starbucks, in schools and be convinced that hope and love do exist if they have faith in it. The true happiness based on that, I am telling you! The feeling of experiencing the person just talked to you and decided to follow Jesus and be baptized will really touch your heart! I don't know how to describe that, it just more than words to see a person laugh again from the bottom of her heart, you will understand everything you've done is just so worth it. Don't let Jesus Christ died in vain and don't let your second life live in vain!

Powerful Evangelism

Hi love ones, just want to share the recipe of  powerful evangelism to you. The recipe of powerful evangelism are: personal testimony, personal lifestyle and proclamation. The other day Pastor Jeff was sharing how Christianity seems like an attractive force to everyone of this world. It really dawned on me it is the fact  people of this world they are watching and longing to have what we have. Sometimes while people would make some comment such as "Christianity is not just a good people's club." Please read between the line!!! You are a Christian which means you have a mind of Christ and the goodness of the Lord. That's say some colleague offended you and the way you reacted was bitter and kept recording this person's wrong. What happen next? The bitterness of the tree grows so huge and you can never see God. Another case is, if you sinned against someone and then the seed of shame grows and grows to be so huge that you can't see God again. We all long for an intimate encounter with Jesus but if our personal lifestyle doesn't correspond of whom we believe in, how can we go around to persuade people our God is a good God.

Evangelism can occur anywhere you want if you want to. Please don't limit it just on a treasure hunt mission. If you are sitting in your office, your classroom or starbucks now, please look around you. Those people are your treasures. God is saying to you those people are my people, go ahead and show them the way I love you. I believe every single one of us are chosen to hold the key to people's heart and we are blessed to have a chance to see how God is moving and touching people's heart.

Walking with Jesus is not just an one day thing, it is a long-distance marathon for every single one of us which means day in and day out we are encountering the spiritual warfare. I love the idea of how pastor David shares about we need to lay our own old Adam and put on the second Adam everyday. How exactly could we do this?? Very simple! When you get up, you can think about what kind of sinful nature you want to get rid of and imagine yourself taking off that dirty shirt and give it all to God and then God is handing you a new and delicate royal evening gown for you to put on. You are representing a royalty, you are a chosen race and a holy nation, you are an ambassador for Christ because you represent the leader of the Kingdom. I love the idea of ambassador immunity. Ambassador immunity means if you are an ambassador of the receiving nation, the law the obligation of the receiving nation doesn't apply to you at all. You are immune by the standard of this world because you are representing the Kingdom. You oldself was dead while JC was crucified for you and you were dead with Him and resurrected with Him again. Your body is not for you to satisfy your own purpose anymore. You have Jesus in your heart, how you see people not as my friends, my colleague, starbucks clerks. You see them as the way Jesus sees them, you embrace them as Jesus embrace them, you love them as Jesus love them. Because those people are YOUR CHILDREN NOW!!!

When we walk with Jesus for a while, it's easy to think yourself higher than another and you didn't even realize you're doing that. I believe if Bible without application it's literally dead, cell group is not increasing in numbers is literally dead, Christians don't reflect the goodness of the Lord is literally dead. I know it sounds pretty intense but this is what I believe. The thing is, it's easy for me to fall in trap because when people start to look up to me I will be like " Hey, let's not the way how it goes! Come on! You should do it like this!" Last night it was a good reminder that God is watching every single step that I take!

Sometimes I get so paranoid when people start a cell group labeled as a Christian artist cell group,  Christian Scientist cell group, Christian cheerleader cell group or whatever. Then I will think that's an exclusive thing for the ppl who have the same background to join. I will be like " come on! That's survive, that's not revive ok? You guys are getting so exclusive, but like what about ppl from another vocation background want to know Jesus? Would you ask them to join their own vocation cell group" When I was taking shower, I feel like I should tell my friend "The True Definition of Cell Group!" So I wazapp her and told her what I've believed. Ok! Funny thing happened right after I sent out that wazapp! I got a message from a non-Christian while I was ticked off (here's the thing, don't process too much! it will go from nothing to something bad!). He asked me "Can you tell me what does it say in Romans Chapter 12?"  I was like " Living Sacrifice and Love!" and my friend was like "That's it?"  I was like "Yea!" Because I didn't even read the content except for the theme of the chapter. But afterward I feel like God was telling me to read through the chapter, a verse just hit my heart, it's pretty much like a slap in the face spiritually. "For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. --Romans 12:3"  I was like "Ok! God! I am sorry!"  Right after I finished reading the passage, my friend called and she kept apologizing. I feel so bad right now! So, to anyone who is reading this article, you know I am sending this message to you! I am so sorry for throwing my "humility" out of window!

After discipleship with my dad on my way home I have a lot of thoughts about the value system we abide by. Sometimes our value system have a close relationship with where we coming from. Here's the thing, I am coming from a culture that performance and money is the center of my life. As you all know, I was a IT major and I even got a mater in IT which I hate. You know why would I choose to major that because my parents and my brother convinced me that software engineer would be a job that provides great fortune. The thing is I felt like 6 years of study is miserable and empty because that's not something I wanted to do. What did this story tell you? If you're making a decision based on money, you may feel like you are working for money and you are being enslaved by it. Scriptures talks about "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.--Matthew 6:24" Don't get me wrong, I am not saying money is evil because I do believe God is the Lord of all creation and He is the one who provides fortunate. God creates all things by His word, but except for one thing which is "us"! He created us through than money so why would you idolize money and recognize money is your king?

I am not saying you can't earn big fortune without Jesus. You probably can but the thing is we do witness a lot of rich people they still live under the orphan spirits and try to prove themselves they are someone big, someone important by purchasing toys such as fancy cars or purses and they may have to maintain certain status in people's heart as well. Come on! Why bother? As children of God, sometimes we will have this stereotype that missionaries or pastors have to be poor because they need to give up all the things they have so as to preach the gospel. I am rebuking this stereotype right now in the name of Jesus! From my perspective I believe children of God would go through a phase of learning how to trust Him because if you lead an easy life with your great fortune your entire life you might be indulged by it. If you can't learn to be faithful without money, how are you going to be faithful with money? At the end of day, you are blessed by the resources so that you can be a true blessing to others. Do you know the owners of forever21, they are south Korean Christian and give away 90% of their income so as to give it back God. Sometimes when we are in church, we probably feel like we are "obligated' to give offering because we have to, because we probably will afraid if we don't give offerings people might think of us as one of those stingy people. To be honest with you, I've struggling with this kind of stuff and especially I am not working right now. So before I went to church last Sunday I was like "Hey Jesus! Just so you know, I can only give you $100 cuz I am pretty broke now!" But that day, God has been speaking to my heart to bless our brother who has been through a hard time now. God was like "Justine, I feed you pretty well and I bless you with everything you can have even though you are on a non-working phase! Would you do me a favor to reciprocate to my son who can't not enjoy what you enjoy right now! I need you to co-work with me to restore his faith back! " so I was like" Can't say no to our father!"

From what I've learned from Jesus is that sometimes money is not our source of security nor happiness. As a matter of fact, God is. So if you think that you are still trapped in this kind of situation I would like to pray for you and ask God to free you from that kind of bondage. Jesus doesn't really care about if you give Him $100 or one trillion, all He cares about is where your heart is? I heard an amazing testimony from my friend, she told me while her dad was called to go on a missionary journey his company was about to grow and expand but after her dad received his calling, he was simply being obedient what God has told him to do. Because what God took away from you right now He will totally reward you for your faithfulness.

Father God, I am asking you to free those who read through this message, I am asking you to free us from the culture of putting money as the center of our lives. Father God you are the provider of everything we could have, we could enjoy! We will stop looking at whatever in our lives are lacking, we will start to look at whatever we have in our lives are blessed by you! Day in and day out we just want to get closer to you, we want to seek first your kingdom because we have faith you will give us all that we need. You are a Father never back out your promises and we will be obedient to every mission and every job that you are calling us to do. We just wants to freely give what we receive freely. In Jesus name! Amen!!

When I was meditating this passage in the morning.  It really dawned on me how many times do we pray for our lives, future, finance, career, husband or boyfriend? We need to stop think about ourselves but think about others! Jesus didn't die so that we could have a easy life! We are called for a purpose! The purpose is bring Kingdom! Kingdom= faith,love, hope and freedom!! The leaders of nations need your prayer so bad! By that I mean the leaders of family, education, art, government, religion, business,media!! So let's proclaim life for Ma ying jeou now, like him or not Ma is the leader of this nation and he desperately need your blessing!

"1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles 1 Tim 2"

今天一早我在沉澱自己讀提摩太書的時候，我突然發覺到我們好像都會為我們的生活，未來，財務，工作，丈夫或者男朋友禱告耶? 我們必須停止一直專注在自己而開始把重心放在他人身上。耶穌為我們而死的目的不是我們可以享受一個簡單人生。我們被神揀選乃是為了我們唯一的目的而活。我們的目的就是把神的國度帶來這個世上。神的國度所構成的要素是=信心，愛，希望和自由。你知道這個世界上各領域的領導人有多需要你的禱告! 這個世界的領導人包含了家庭，教育，藝術，政府，宗教，商業和媒體。來!!!我們一起對馬英九宣告新的突破吧不管你今天喜不喜歡馬這個人他是這個國家的領導人他非常需要你的祝福!

1 我 勸 你 ， 第 一 要 為 萬 人 懇 求 、 禱 告 、 代 求 、 祝 謝 ；

提摩太前書 2:1-7

Today I want to share something about how easy it is to disciple people and encourage people! Discipleship is not about you are spiritually higher than anybody and then demand them to do something spiritually. As a matter of fact, I feel like discipleship is more about introducing this awesome friend Jesus Christ to someone and bless them what God has been blessing you. Everybody needs love therefore everybody needs Jesus, sometimes people don't know how bad they need love and freedom. God has been ordained us to be the sowers of the Lord and our job is to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.-- Matthew 28:19-20" Oh! Yes indeed!! Teach "them" what God has commanded us!

今天我想跟各位分享的是訓練門徒和鼓勵人們是有多容易的一件事情。 門徒訓練不是屬靈有多高深的人命令你要去做什麼屬靈的事。其實我對門徒的想法就是介紹你的好朋友耶穌和祝福你身邊的人讓他們也能夠跟你一樣經歷到那樣的自由和喜樂。對我來說，每一個人都需要愛，耶穌是愛，所以每一個人都需要耶穌。神揀選我們成為撒種者而我們的工作是 " 所 以 ， 你 們 要 去 ， 使 萬 民 作 我 的 門 徒 ， 奉 父 、 子 、 聖 靈 的 名 給 他 們 施 洗 （ 或 作 ： 給 他 們 施 洗 ， 歸 於 父 、 子 、 聖 靈 的 名 ） 。
凡 我 所 吩 咐 你 們 的 ， 都 教 訓 他 們 遵 守 ， 我 就 常 與 你 們 同 在 ， 直 到 世 界 的 末 了 。--馬太 28:19-20" 沒錯!教導他們神所給你們的。

I did mention about how Pastor Chang share the recipe to sustain the fire is by passing to someone otherwise the fire is going to die eventually! So my suggestion is, if you are willing you could establish a genuine friendship by being honest about our Faith and keep serving them. You may very well invite them to have Starbucks once or twice a week to check on them or listen to their hearts. Bless them and encourage them! Remember, it is not only pastor or missionary's job to make disciples but yours. At the end of day, we do have the same identity as child of God and we do have the same "Great Commission!" So if you do have spiritual parents now I would love to congrats you because you will be totally equipped and by the tools your spiritual parents sharing with you, you will learn how to use them to bring the kingdom of God. You strength and courage it's not coming from how many times you read through Bible(Don't get me wrong, Bible does play an essential part in our life because it is the filter of God's words!) it's about you have been with Jesus. Remember how Peter and John reacted in front of the rulers and the teachers of the law, their faith is not coming from what schools they were attending to or how were the approved by some famous people, it's about the fact that they actually been with Jesus!!! "When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. --Acts 4:13"

As for those who haven't found your spiritual parents I will love to urge you to pray about it and ask God to send someone to serve you. At the end of day, as we walk with Jesus, we will be having more than one spiritual parents. Don't be afraid to consult with more than one person because different spiritual parents could offer you different gifts. God makes everyone unique and special so as to perform a chamber of symphony for His love.
先前有跟大家分享過Pastor Chang跟我分享的秘方，因為我會擔心我火焰會滅掉。但他跟我說，你知道怎樣才不會熄火嗎?你要把你的火把傳給下一個人。我的想法是，門徒其實就是和其他人建立起最真誠的友誼坦承你的信心並服侍他們。你可以邀請他們去喝星巴克，要請他們至少一周或兩周跟你見一次面讓他們有機會讓你傾聽他們的心。祝福他們並鼓勵他們。其實，這些工作並不是僅只牧師或者傳道人的工作而是你的工作。因為我們都有同一個身分，我們皆是神的孩子而我們擁有同等的大使命。所以如果你現在有屬靈的父母，我真的很恭喜你因為你會被完全的裝備而你也將擁有你屬靈父母的工具。你也會學習如何去使用這些工具把神的國度帶到這世界上。你的力量和勇氣不是來自於你念了聖經幾次(千萬別誤會，聖經是很重要的!因為他扮演著神話語的咖啡濾紙。你會藉由你對聖經的理解去分辨那些話是從神而來) 你的信心來自於你真的和耶穌相處過!!記得在使徒行傳中彼得和約翰在律法的長者和教師前如何表現的，他們的信心絕對不是來自於今天他去那間名校上課或者他們被名人所認可。而是他們真的和耶穌相處。"他 們 見 彼 得 、 約 翰 的 膽 量 ， 又 看 出 他 們 原 是 沒 有 學 問 的 小 民 ， 就 希 奇 ， 認 明 他 們 是 跟 過 耶 穌 的 。"
我相信有些姐妹們你們還沒有屬靈父母，那我會建議你們禱告並請神送一個適合你的人來服侍你。因為當我們和耶穌同行時，我們會有多於一個屬靈父母。所以你不用擔心你諮詢多個屬靈父母會冒犯誰，因為每個人都不同的禮物，每一個屬靈父母可以給你的是不一樣的禮物。神造每一個人都很獨特因為他期待我們能夠利用我們不同的個性為他彈奏愛的交響樂

Oftentimes when we encourage people, they will be like "are you being real?" "are you saying those things because you are trying to make me feel better?" and then they will go "I feel more comfortable to being around someone who is more real!" Sometimes people are not used to be encouraged, because how the society reflects is more about putting people down so as to prove themselves higher than others or magnifying people's mistakes. When we encourage people, the whole atmosphere will be changed because our words have power. You will never know by a simple encourage word you can go around to end suicide or even war! That's say if you're working out in the gym, in stead of thinking they are being nice so as to sell training class to you, you could have a whole change a mentality by saying "You know what I have been looking forward for this entire day? Is to see your smile!" I am sure they will feel touched by what you said because they will no longer try to be nice to you because what the manager demand them to act that way, they being nice to you because they are rejoicing the glory of God with you as well.
有時候當我們鼓勵別人時，他們會說"你可以實際一點嗎?" "你說這些只是想讓我開心一點" "我和實際的人相處起來比較愉快" 有時候人們不習慣被鼓勵，這個社會總是喜歡貶低他人成就自我或者放大人的錯誤。但當我們鼓勵別人時，整個氛圍將會改變因為話語是有力量的。你的話語甚至可以挽救很多人的生命或阻止戰爭。我要舉一個我的例子，我常去健身房運動，櫃台的小姐每次都會對我笑或者很有禮貌。我相信那是經理逼他們這麼做。但是你的心態換一下，不要想著他們是為了向你推銷課程才對你好。你可以鼓勵他們"你知道嗎?我一天最期待就是來健身房因為你的笑容讓我心情很好" 因為下次他們在對你笑是真心的跟你一起分享神榮耀的喜樂

So today we got the chance to rehearse for the skit. The story is about queen Esther was ordained to be a queen and how God sent her to save her own people. To be honest, I was a lil bit grumpy today and I don' t feel like going to church especially I have a lot of studies going on and lots of emotional drama. Anyway, so I went to church basically out of being obedient to God. Sorry!! Ms. Pearson, I am being too honest now! Haha! During the whole rehearsing moment, there's one verse really speaks to my heart, "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this? --Esther 4:14"

Have you ever had this kind of "what if" mentality? What if my mom is Christian and then she will understand what I am doing. What if my granddad will be healed from his sickness? What if I could have a well paid job so that I could dedicate more to the people I love. What if I were as famous as Heidi Baker so that I could have the power to shake nations. Then it will go on and on and on because all you can think about is you are less than those people and you are being trapped by the situation instead of transforming the situation. You have to believe, God never makes mistakes. He makes you Asian, African, Asian American, American, Latino or Caribbean for a reason and you have being ordained to "royal position for such a time as this!!!!" Everything God places in your life is not by accident as a matter of fact He meant to plan that way. He is waiting for you to say "Yes Lord! I am ready! If I perish, I perish!" Because you are not live for yourself, your mom even your future husband! You live for Jesus! You may have to give up everything you once valued and follow Jesus. It doesn't mean you have to donate all your money and go on a missionary trip somewhere and being starved and eaten by the lion in the jungle. What I am trying to say is, you need to look beyond the things of this world. You may have the heart for Jesus but the thing is sometimes we will put ourselves before Jesus or people! Shi-Yi asked me "if God is your good friend, then have you ever thought are you a good friend of God?" Do you trust Him and treat Him like a good friend or just ask Him to give you all that you want?
